Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut’s historical getups in ‘Chandramukhi 2’ stun fans

‘Chandramukhi’ one of Superstar Rajinikanth’s all time biggest hits was released in the year 2006 and now the sequel is being made after 18 years by the same director P. Vasu.  The film is produced by Lyca Productions on a grand scale with music composed by Oscar winner MM Keeravani.

It is already well known that popular Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is playing the title character of ‘Chandramukhi 2’ while Raghava Lawrence is the male lead.  The film which was shot for several months is racing towards the finish line.

Meanwhile Raghava Lawrence has shared a pic in which Kangana is in the historical ‘Chandramukhi’ and he is presumably in the Vettaiyan character played by Superstar Rajinikanth in the original.  The pic shows the cast and crew cutting a cake signalling a schedule wrap.

‘Chandramukhi 2’ has Vadivelu in an important character which is a major highlight as his hilarious comedy as Murugesan was one of the selling points of the original as well. The others important members of the cast are Lakshmi Menon, Mahima Nambiar, Raadhika Sarathkumar and Ravi Maria.  The release date announcement is expected soon.
