Raai Laxmi ‘announces’ engagement, but there is a twist

Raai Laxmi, the multi-lingual actress, on Tuesday ‘confirmed’ her engagement. Without revealing the name of her beau, the ‘Kanchana’ actress said that her engagement will take place on April 27. But, there is a twist because it’s a public service announcement actually! 

“Since lots of people have been asking me questions for quite a long time, I decided to address it. I am not hiding my relationship. I don’t think it’s anyone’s business. I need some privacy and have to protect the well-being of my partner,” Raai Laxmi wrote before going on to deliver the twist. 

The ‘Sardar Gabbar Singh’ and ‘Khaidi No. 150’ actress said that she had stolen the engagement post from someone just to remind everyone to stay safe in Covid-19 times. “Wash your hands properly and use the sanitizer when necessary,” Laxmi wrote. 

In other words, it was a clever public service announcement by Laxmi! The engagement claim was bait to draw everyone’s attention to the actual Covid message at the end. 

She was recently in the news over injuring herself on the sets of an upcoming movie.
