Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings on Monday launched ‘Pushpa 2’, alternatively referred to as ‘Pushpa: The Rule’. The film sees the coming together of Allu Arjun and Sukumar in a reunion of sorts.
“We started off the project on an auspicious note. It is going to be bigger and grander. Filming is going to begin soon,” the makers today said.
The first part of the movie, released in December last year, grossed Rs 350 Cr, with more than Rs 100 Cr coming from Hindi. The second part has sky as the limit.
The makers didn’t reveal any new casting names. Besides Bunny, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Dhanunjaya, Sunil and Anausya Bharadwaj have been mentioned officially.
The story and screenplay is coming from Sukumar himself, while the technical team is largely the same as those who worked on the first part. Mireslow Kuba Brozek (cinematography), Devi Sri Prasad, and lyricist Chandrabose are on board. S Ramakrishna and Monica Nigotre are the movie’s production designers.
