Presenter Allu Aravind and producer Allu Bobby on Friday issued a statement indirectly refuting the rumour that the film will bypass theatres in favour of an OTT release. It’s a visual experience and will be released only in theatres first, the makers clarified, without mincing words.
“The product is very close to our heart. ‘Ghani’ was shot in exotic locations and in expensive sets. We have made this film without any compromises in order to deliver the best visual experience,” the producers stated. The release has been postponed at a time when the film industry is recovering from the blow of the pandemic. To avoid a clash with other films, the release date has been withheld for now.
Directed by newcomer Kiran Korrapati, the film has also been written by Abburi Ravi. Its stunts are by Dhilip Subbarayan and Larnell Stovall. Also featuring Saiee Manjrekar, Upendra, Sunil Shetty, Naveen Chandra, the actioner is co-produced by Sidhu Mudda
