Producer SKN, who gained immense popularity with Baby, has recently found himself in the middle of controversy following comments he made at a Dragon event. SKN’s remarks about Telugu heroines sparked backlash across social media and the film industry.
During the event, his statement was widely misinterpreted as discouraging the casting of Telugu girls in films. This led to heavy trolling. Many accused him of dismissing local talent in favor of actresses from other regions.

In response to the controversy, SKN has now come forward to clarify his stance. SKN insisted that his comments were made in a lighthearted manner and were not meant to be taken seriously.
“I was joking. My words were said in a fun angle and have been blown out of proportion,” he explained. SKN also highlighted his track record of introducing and supporting Telugu actresses, naming stars like Reshma, Anandi, Priyanka Jawalkar, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, Aishwarya, and Khushita as talents he has launched.
SKN revealed that he has now set a personal goal to introduce 25 Telugu girls into the industry.
