Actress Priyanka Upendra, a popular name in Kannada film industry, had entered Kollywood and paired with Thala Ajith in the family entertainer Raja directed by Ezhil, and sizzled alongside Chiyaan Vikram in Kadhal Sadugudu directed by VZ Dhorai, and both the movies could not help her score a hit.
The actress then went on to act in Captain Vijayakanth’s Raajiyam and was last seen in Tamil in Arun Vijay starrer Jananam. Now, the actress is all set to return to Tamil after 15 years, as she has been approached to play a pivotal role in the upcoming movie of Mahath Raghavendra.
This movie directed by debutant duo Magesh and Venkat, this untitled movie will be a Tamil – Kannada bilingual which will have Mahath paired with Yaashika Aanand, and Priyanka Upendra will be seen in the role of an anglo Indian woman, and it is expected that Arvind Swami might be roped in for a cameo.
