Niranjan Reddy of PrimeShow Entertainment, known for delivering the Pan India blockbuster “Hanu-Man,” has announced his next production venture in collaboration with Smt. Chaitanya. The film stars Priyadarshi, who is riding high on the success of “Balagam,” “Om Bheem Bush,” and “Save The Tigers” series, in the lead role. Nabha Natesh is making a comeback after an injury with this romantic comedy directed by Aswin Raam.
Titled “Darling,” the film comes with an intriguing tagline, “Why This Kolaveri?” The first-look poster depicts Priyadarshi’s character proposing to Nabha Natesh, and it is as charming as the title itself. The title announcement glimpse humorously showcases the relationship dynamics between Priyadarshi and Nabha Natesh.
The glimpse starts with a light-hearted conversation between Priyadarshi and a barber in a salon. When asked why he seems upset, Priyadarshi enlightens the barber about the different stages of women’s lives. He describes them as loving and affectionate as mothers, supportive and protective as sisters, and cute and bubbly as lovers. However, he humorously expresses the challenges faced when the same girl becomes a wife, leading to Nabha Natesh’s character playfully teasing Priyadarshi.
The glimpse suggests that “Darling” will be a complete entertainer that resonates with all sections of the audience. The creative use of popular songs like Mahesh Babu’s “Pedave Palikina” to depict a mother’s love, Pawan Kalyan’s “Annayya Annavante” to portray brother-sister bonding, and Prabhas’ “Mellagaa Karagani” to showcase the intimacy between lovers adds a unique and comic perspective to the narrative.
The idea of depicting women’s states of mind through popular songs demonstrates the director Aswin Raam’s creativity. With the film coming from the makers of “Hanu-Man,” there is heightened anticipation for its release.
Ananya Nagalla plays a crucial role in the movie, which also features several noted actors. The film boasts a team of talented technicians, including Naresh as the cinematographer, Vivek Sagar as the music composer, Hemanth as the dialogue writer, and Pradeep E Ragav of “Love Today” fame as the editor. Gandhi serves as the production designer, adding to the film’s overall appeal and quality.
