July 22 is a day when every employee of some Chennai- and Bengaluru-based companies will have special status. As children, they had to bunk classes to watch Rajini's films. Now, they can officially catch the Superstar on first day first show.
Kabali mania has caught on so pervasively that the heat reached the top echelons of corporates in these cities. So much so, the managements thought it apt to appease their employees by granting a holiday on July 22. A few of them have even gone to the extent of booking tickets for higher level employees and their family members. They are calling in Kabali bonus, something like Diwali bonus.
Asked as to why they took this decision even at the cost of losing productivity for a day, the executives have said that it will help avoid "mass bunks, mobile switch offs". Moreover, it will be a "great booster" for employees.
So dear employees won't have to report at the office and say "Yes, boss" on the 22nd. Because they are Kabali's fans!
