Why Prithviraj wrote long apology letter to Superstar Rajinikanth

Young Malayalam superstar Prithviraj is also a household name in Tamil cinema having starred in such memorable movies as ‘Mozhi’, ‘Kaaviya Thalaivan’, ‘Ninaithale Inikkum’ and others.  The handsome hunk made his directorial debut with the Mohan Lal starrer ‘Lucifer’ that became a blockbuster hit.

Prithviraj in a recent interaction has revealed that an offer came to direct Superstar Rajinikanth for a new film but he had to decline it due to commitments for ‘Aadujeevitham’ in which he is playing the lead role.  Prithviraj further added that he wrote a long apology letter to Rajini the like of which he has never wrote to anyone else in his life.  He is still ;ruing the missed opportunity to work with the biggest legend on Indian cinema.

According to Prithviraj the offer came when he finished ‘Lucifer’ which means that the project could have been ‘Thalaivar 168’ that became ‘Darbar’ directed by A.R. Murugadoss which is releasing on Pongal 2020.  There is further curiosity as to what the story that Prithviraj narrated to Rajini and if there is a chance for the duo to get together again in the future.
