Earlier, it has been reported that Vijayakanth will be making a special appearance in the Vijay Milton directed film starring Vijay Antony. Puratchi Kalaignar Captain was last seen on screen in the 2015 film ‘Sagaptham’, which is the debut film of his younger son Shanmuga Pandian.

Vijay Antony is teaming up with director Vijay Milton for the upcoming film ‘Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan’. It also stars Sarath Kumar in a pivotal role and Megha Akash as the female lead and is said to be a sequel to Vijay Antony’s 2014 film Salim. The shooting of the project is currently in the final stages as the filming has been going on for the last few months.

Recently, it was speculated on media that the veteran legendary actor Vijayakanth will be essaying a cameo in Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan and the makers are planning to shoot his portions at his home. Now, Vijayakanth’s wife Premalatha has broken the silence and commented in this regard.

Premalatha Vijayakanth said, “Vijaykanth is not acting in any film. The news that he is acting in the movie is false.” This confirms that Vijaykanth is not appearing in any movie, including Vijay Antony’s ‘Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan’.
