Celebrities Including Tamannaah and Katrina Take Holy Dip at Kumbh Mela

The Maha Kumbh Mela, which began on January 13 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, concluded with the Shivratri celebrations.

Every day, devotees from various states of India and different countries took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers converge. Celebrities from the film industry also participated in the sacred bath.

The ritual of Shahi Snan, believed to cleanse sins and lead to salvation, was observed with a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam.

To ensure public welfare, around 2,000 medical camps were set up around the Kumbh Mela premises, offering high-quality medical services.

The entire event was monitored through AI-powered surveillance, ensuring a seven-layer security system.

Nearly 1,000 special trains were operated from different parts of India to Prayagraj to accommodate visitors.

Drones, surveillance cameras, and AI-based alert systems were deployed for enhanced security and crowd management.

Popular film personalities, including Tamannaah, Katrina Kaif, Vijay Deverakonda, and Akshay Kumar, participated in the holy dip at Triveni Sangam.

While an estimated 450 million visitors were expected, the actual number of devotees reached an astonishing 660 million.
