‘Salaar’ team shares stunning BTS video to celebrate Prashanth Neel’s birthday

Prasanth Neel put Kannada cinema on the world map with his two mega hits ‘KGF : Chapter 1’ and ‘KGF : Chapter 2’ starring Yash in the lead.  Both the films went on to collect more than rupees thousand five hundred crores making the young filmmaker the toast of the nation.

Prashanth Neel has been putting all his energy in his next pan Indian film ‘Salaar’ which is in the making for more than two years.  The ace filmmaker turns 43 today and the team has released a BTS video of him in action on the sets.  The clip shows him not only composing and executing difficult shots but also relaxing with the cricket bat as well.  The video has gone viral instantly.  Prabhas and the rest of the cast and crew celebrated by cutting cakes with the birthday boy.

‘Salaar’ produced on a massive scale by  Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films has music by Ravi Basrur, cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda and editing by Ujwal Kulkarni all of whom have worked in the ‘KGF’ films as well.  The film stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathy Babu, Easwari Rao and Yash in a special appearance as Rocky Bhai.  The film is slated for release on September 28th this year.

Prashanth Neel is all set to direct Jr. NTR  next in ‘NTR31’ which is about the rise of a man from a humble background to becoming one of the most powerful people to have ever existed. He is the protector of the weak, extending his charitable activities to many planes, whilst being the death for enemies.
