It has been made official that the 2018 Hindi superhit movie Andhadhun directed by Sriram Raghavan and starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte, will be remade in Tamil with actor Prashanth in lead role and director Mohan Raja directing it.
To be produced by Prashanth’s father Thiagarajan, this movie will begin shooting in February. In a recent interview, Thiagarajan said that Mohan Raja was the only director they had in mind to direct this remake, and that they have discussed with director Sriram Raghavan for two days regarding the remake.
Thiagarajan has also revealed that Prashanth has been taking piano training for the past six months, as his character will be that of a musician, adding that the actor has lost 22 kgs for the role and is further training in Malaysia to reduce 5 more kgs for his role in the movie.
