Earlier, Indiaglitz had reported that Director Vetrimaran's Visaranai' will be hitting the screens on February 5, 2016. Now another big budget Tamil film will be releasing on the same day.

Actor Prashanth's 'Saahasam' will be releasing on February 5. The film has been produced on a mega budget by Prashanth's father Thiyagarajan and directed by debutante Arun Raj Varma. The film has musical score by S.S.Thaman.

The film stars Prashanth and Amanda in lead roles whole Abeetha, Nasser, Thambi Ramiah, Devadarshini and M.S.Basker have played supporting roles. Bollywood glam girl Nargis Fakhri has danced for a item number in the film.

The film is the Tamil remake of Telugu super hit 'Julayi' directed by Thirivkram Srinivas

If 'Visaranai' is being released by the mammoth production house Lyca Productions, ''Saahasam' is being released in theaters by the prestigious Sri Thenandal Films Banner.
