Mani Ratnam's production venture 'Five Star' (2002) directed by Susi Ganesan marked the film debut of Prasanna and Kaniha along with the other stars. The film had a good run at the box office.

Now after almost two decades the lead pair of 'Five Star', Prasanna and Kaniha have teamed up again for a web series produced by Allu Arjun's Aha OTT. The pretty actress has taken to Instagram to gush about.

Kaniha wrote "Started my career with @susiganeshan sirs's Five Star produced by @madrastalkies in 2002. And then this happened....19 years later I get to share screen with my first co star @prasanna_actor,It felt like life came a full circle. So Happy to work with you Pras.."

The 'Varalaru' actress has added "We are wiser,smarter and definitely look better with growing years...Thank you @ahatamil amil @vigneshvijayk @directormbalaji for this awesome experience. Enjoyed working on this super fun and whacky series with a brilliant bunch of artists."
