Popular actress and former 'Bigg Boss Tamil' contestant Vanitha Vijayakumar posted a shocking picture of herself with a black eye and swollen face. She stated that an unknown assailant attacked her last night and suspected that he was a a Pradeep Antony supporter irked by the actor's controversial eviction from the reality show on a red card. Pradeep Antony shared the screenshot of a whatsapp conversation with Vanitha and wrote on X "Clarification: I really don't have anything against any of my contestants or anyone. I speak like this with them. @vanithavijayku1 I'm not aware of what happened to you, but I feel sorry for you. Take rest. Jovika is smart, she can win it by herself, she doesn't need your help."

Earlier the Chennai police also reached out to Vanitha asking her to share the CCTV footage so that they can apprehend the attacker. The actress politely declined writing "I thank @tnpoliceoffl for the immediate care and assistance. I need to rest and heal emotionally and physically. I kindly request everyone to spread love and give me privacy till I am better."
