Among his recent works, Bagheera directed by Ashik Ravichandran stands out as his most recent movie, yet to have a confirmed release date. However, the anticipation continues to build with the upcoming production of "Flashback" is already underway.
Exciting news awaits as Prabhu Deva's next venture, titled "Petta Rap," inspired by his cult classic song from “Kadhalan” is set to begin filming. The film will be directed by SJ Sinu, a well-known Malaylam director who has previously worked in Theru and Djibouti. Vedhika, an actress who has appeared in films in a variety of south Indian languages, including Tamil, will play the film's female lead.
Set against a cityscape, the film's title was revealed: Petta Rap, with the slogan "Sing, action, Dance repeat" flashing across a neon billboard. This reveals that the movie will have an upbeat musical score and dance choreo will set the stage on fire.
Jobi P. Sam, through his company Blue Hill Films and the company he co-founded, Blue Hill Nael Communication, will bankroll the movie. Music director composer, D. Imman will be scoring the music .
