Last seen opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna in 'Ruler', Sonal has been unwinding herself these days. Her Instagram followers have been treated to occasional gyaan in the form of quotes. 

As an actress, Sonal likes to do a variety of roles. "I am somebody who likes to do varied kinds of roles. But I am offered strong-headed type of roles. The most important quality of an actor is that he or she should be versatile," she said in an interview in 2019. "I am really dying to do a non-glamorous role, a proper villager's role," she added in the interview. 

The model-turned-actress has done movies such as 'Legend', 'Pandaga Chesko', 'Size Zero' and 'Dictator' in Telugu. 'Jack And Dil' and 'Jannat' are among her Hindi movies.
