Haritha Haram, which aims to increase the forest cover in Telangana to 33%, has struck the right chord with film celebs. Earlier in June, Prabhas sounded the bugle by planting saplings at his farmhouse in Hyderabad in company with TRS MP Santosh Kumar. After him, a number of Telugu film industry personalities took part in the campaign.

It's now the turn of Brahmanandam. A few pics of the 'Dookudu' and 'Race Gurram' actor lovingly planting saplings in the backyard of his house have come out. The legendary comedian accepted the Green India Challenge with the ostensible aim of inspiring his fans to do the same.

'Evaru' and 'Major' actor Adivi Sesh, 'Baahubali' and 'Duvvada Jagannadham' actor Subbaraj, Saina Nehwal, former cricketer Md Azharuddin, 'Hit' and 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi' actor Vishwak Sen, anchor Harika, among others, have already taken part in the campaign.
