‘Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi’: Title song is catchy and mood-centric!

The title song from ‘Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi’ is a winner. Composed by Kalyani Malik, it is sung by Nutana Mohan and Dhanunjay. Capturing the feel-good and evolutionary nature of the romance between the lead pair (played by Naga Shaurya and Malvika Nair), the song is a potential chartbuster like ‘Kanula Chatu Meghama’, the first song. 

Love is full of surprises, starting with the first meeting. The song, with its evocative lyrics by Bhaskarabhatla, encapsulates the vicissitudes and colours of love. ‘Kanulaki Kanulu Kavitha Rasenuga…Manasutho Manasu Kalupukoga..Okaraniki Okaru Chaduvuthu Murisipoyaru gammathugaa’ is a line the makers are particularly in love with.

Directed by Srinivas Avasarala and produced by People Media Factory in collaboration with Dasari Productions, the film will hit the screens on March 17.

Co-starring the director, Megha Chowdhury, Ashok Kumar, Abhishek Maharshi, Sri Vidya, Varanasi Soumya Chalamcharla, Harini Rao, and Arjun Prasad, the film is touted to be slice-of-life. “‘PAPA’ is a real film with true-to-life scenes and situations. Every conversation is organic. The lives of the lead pair reflect everyday life,” the makers recently said.
