We all know that Jiiva’s upcoming flick ‘Gorilla’ will be starring an actual chimp sharing screen space with the actor and Shalini Pandey. However PETA seems to be not so impressed. The People for the Ethical treatment of Animals has asked the makers of ‘Gorilla’ to not use the real animal but use graphics instead.

PETA also stated that animals should not be put in a chaotic film set, then force to 'act' and brought around examples of Hollywood flicks like ‘The Planet of the Apes’ technical wizardry and how even ‘Gorilla’ makers could follow suit.

However, Don Sandy, the director of the movie has responded that the shoot for the movie has already been wrapped and even then, he assured that the shooting was done in complete adherence to the rules set by the Indian and Thailand governments.
