Two Payakaraopeta-based supporters of Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan today died due to electrocution when they were putting up a large flexi ahead of the visit of the actor-politician.
They were keen on erecting a 30ft tall banner in order to show their love for Power Star. However, it proved to be fatal for them in the absence of precautionary measures. Named T Naga Raju (28) and Bheemavarapu Shiva (31), the deceased youngsters have saddened the party.
Pawan Kalyan, issuing a statement, has said that he prays for the peace of the departed souls. “I can understand the pain of the family members of the deceased. I will be there to condole the family members,” he said. He will reach the village tomorrow.
