Pawans no to allies, says people are partners

Pawan Kalyan has put an end to all speculations about Jana Sena allying with this or that party in Andhra Pradesh. He did so by using a Telugu idiom for effect.

"If some of them claim that Jana Sena has already allied with some or the other party, yet others declare that even seat-sharing arrangement was completed. We don't need the backing of any party. Our strength are the people. Let's show our might," Power Star exhorted to his supporters on Sunday night.

This comes days after Pawan went all the way to Lucknow and failed to secure an appointment with Mayawati. A couple of days later, Chandrababu Naidu got to speak personally with the BSP chief. It's a matter of speculation whether Pawan's latest statement on alliances has anything to do with what transpired over the last few days.
