Pawan Kalyan-Sai Dharam Tej’s movie launched!

Pawan Kalyan fans are in for joyous news today. The Telugu remake of the Tamil movie ‘Vinodhaya Sitham’ has finally been launched. It was finalized about 1.5 years ago. The project is an adaptation and not a remake in the strictest sense of the term. 

To be directed by Samuthirakani, the remake stars Power Star and Sai Dharam Tej in lead roles. Produced by People Media Factory, the film will have music by SS Thaman.

On Wednesday, the project was launched in the presence of the Jana Sena Party supremo, actor-director Samuthirakani, Trivikram Srinivas (the film’s story, screenplay and dialogue writer), Thaman (music director), TG Vishwa Prasad (producer), Vivek Kuchibhotla (co-producer) and a few others.

While the full details of casting are not known, it is speculated that ‘Romantic’ and ‘Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga’ heroine Ketika Sharma has been roped in. Zee Studios is also producing the movie. 

This adaptation is going to be a litmus test. ‘Bheemla Nayak’ was a hit despite being a remake. So, Trivikram and Pawan have their pulse on the audience’s tastes.
