The Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan , emerged victorious in the Pithapuram assembly segment, winning the seat with a comfortable majority of over 70,000 votes against his rival , YSR Congress party’s Vanga Geetha. This significant win was attributed to the strong support from the Kapu community voters and the prevailing anti-incumbency sentiment.

Pawan Kalyan announced that the party has taken responsibility  for  releasing the Mega DSC notification, ensuring that all 175 seats are filled.  He  also assured that law and order will be strengthened, with minimal political involvement in systems.
