Pawan Kalayan’s ultimate word on his films

It has been held by political and cine commentators that the Jaganmohan Reddy government wants to destroy Jana Sena Party’s financial muscle by targeting Pawan Kalyan’s big-ticket movies in the coming years by reducing ticket prices to ridiculously low levels. At the pre-release event of ‘Republic’, the ‘Vakeel Saab’ actor made it clear that he is the target and Tollywood as a whole is mere collateral damage for the YCP government.
Addressing a huge rally of his party at Mangalagiri on Sunday, the actor-politician made an ultimate comment. He indicated that he can’t care less for his financial well-being in the first place. “They think that stopping my films and subverting my financial interests is going to scare me. If the push comes to shove, I will screen my movies for free of cost,” the versatile actor said with a smile on his face. The crowds erupted in cheers at this.
The speech has become a topic of some interest among Kalyan’s fans. They are saying that Power Star, who has confirmed at least four big-ticket movies (including ‘Bheemla Nayak’), can walk the talk if he slashes his remuneration to incredibly low levels. But that would be really far-fetched even in imagination.
