Pasupaleti Rama Rao conferred with Sobhan Babu-Vamshi film award

Senior journalist Pasupaleti Rama Rao, who has made several impeccable journalistic contributions over a career spanning 45 years, has been conferred the Sobhan Babu-Vamshi International Film Award.  An announcement to this effect has been made by Dr. Vamshi Rama Raju of Vamshi Art Theatres.

The award will be presented to Rama Rao on March 23 at an event to be held at Ravindra Bharati.  The award was instituted by 'Nata Bhushan' Sobhan Babu way back in 1972.  

The decision to give away the award to the journalist was taken by a committee headed by Relangi Narasimha Rao.
