Kollywood actress Parvathy Nair, who has also been a model, has been accused by a male person named Subhash Chandra Bose of abusing her in the past. Parvathy has described the allegation as scandalous. The other day, she issued a statement saying that she will file defamation suits against the media houses if they publish motivated falsehoods against her.
The actress has since also urged the National Commission of Women to render her due justice. She reiterated, in a statement on Wednesday, that there have been attempts to defame her by the person (read Bose) who allegedly stole expensive gadgets at her place. "He was a part-time helper and pet sitter. Despite enough reasons for me to suspect his behaviour, I had given him the benefit of doubt," Parvathy said today.
Parvarthy suggested that Bose has been planting false information against her on social media. "I have filed a suit seeking an injunction to restrain the publication of false information and an injunction seeking the removal of the existing publications," she said today, adding that she follows the law to the letter. She added that the episode has caused her severe mental stress and trauma.
