Pan-India director’s daughter croons song in ‘Ghani’

‘Ghani’, starring Varun Tej in the led, will hit the screens either on February 25 or March 4. Its third song will be unveiled on February 8. Titled ‘Romeo Juliet’, the Thaman composition has got an exciting update.

The song, shot on the lead pair (Saiee Manjrekar is the heroine), has been rendered by the daughter of a pan-India filmmaker. More details of the song will be announced officially by the makers.

Varun Tej took training in boxing in the US for this boxing-based actioner. The film’s budget is rumoured to be something like Rs 35 Cr, which makes it the costliest film in Tej’s career.

Directed by newcomer Kiran Korrapati, the film has also been written by Abburi Ravi. Its stunts are by Dhilip Subbarayan and Larnell Stovall. Also featuring Upendra, Sunil Shetty, Naveen Chandra, the actioner is produced by Allu Bobby and Sidhu Mudda.

Varun Tej’s other movie, ‘F3’, stars Venkatesh as the other male lead. It will hit the screens on April 28.
