Asif Ghafoor, Spokesperson of Pakistan Army and a proven ISI puppet, has lauded Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone hours after she visited the Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi to stand in "solidarity" with the victims of Sunday's violence on the campus. "Kudos to Deepika for standing up for youth and the truth in this atmosphere," Ghafoor said, only to delete it later. Deepika visiting the JNU has been seen as a "powerful statement" against the Narendra Modi government. Thus the praise from Pakistan.
Commenting on the issue, columnist Soumyadipta asks, "Asif first posts pictures of Deepika's JNU visit. But strangely he deletes the tweet. Can somebody please help me understand why the Pakistani general deleted this tweet?"
Getting humorous, senior journalist Smita Prakash says, "Hahahaha. ISI spokesman is crushing on Deepika, but vardi ki vajah se he deleted the photo. Dil toh bachcha hai jii, thoda kachcha hai jii.."
At this rate, Deepika's upcoming movie, 'Chhapaak', might get an award from Pakistan.
