The much-expected Vikram starrer ‘Thangalaan,’ directed by Pa. Ranjith, earlier fixed for a January release, came on board in April after several postponements centred seemingly around technical areas involving graphic work, leading to conjecture on the April release of the film as well.
Recent developments now indicate the April release is in doubt, with sources hinting at a possible postponement pertaining to parliamentary elections. Reports have it that the film will most likely hit screens post-election and its outcome. However, an official confirmation of the release date is awaited, leaving fans eager for clarity.
And this work is going on in full swing for the movie, with its creative team working with ongoing dubbing, editing, and graphic efforts in place. Some of the prominent actors from the film fraternity are Vikram, Pashupati, Malavika Mohanan, and Parvathy, among others, while GV Prakash has done the music composition. ‘Thangalaan’ is a Studio Green production by Gnanavel Raja in association with Neelam Productions.
