Official: Dhanush, Sekhar Kammula’s pan-India project announced

As was reported on Thursday, Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula are teaming up for a pan-India project, which was made official today. Producers Narayan Das K Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao have said that the untitled flick, which will go on the floors later in 2021, will be made and released simultaneously in three languages: Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.

This is the first pan-India project for Kammula, who has prepared a universal story for the ‘Maari’ and ‘Raghuvaran B.Tech’ actor. Saying that the film will tick all the right boxes, the makers highlighted the fact that both the actor and the director are National Award winners. 

The producers are in talks with noted names from multiple languages in tune with the ambitious nature of the project. A top-notch technical team will come together to make the endeavour a memorable one. 

The film will most likely hit the screens in 2022, joining the list of other pan-India projects (such as ‘Salaar’ and NTR30) from South India. To be presented by Sonali Narang, the Dhanush-Kammula outing will likely combine classy and commercial sensibilities to cater to the various audiences.
