There had been reports making the rounds that Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro had tested positive for Corona virus. However the latest update is that the president has revealed that he had tested negative for the new coronavirus.

Following Jair Bolsonaro's recent trip to the US when an infected member of his staff came in contact with Donald Trump, there have been various reports on the President himself being affected by the novel Corona virus. The official Facebook page of Bolsonaro has a post which has clarified that the Armed Forces Hospital Sabin had returned a negative test result for COVID-19 for President of the Republic Jair Bolsonaro.

There was another message on the page, insisting people not to believe in the fake news media. Previously, Bolsonaro had called corona virus scares to be blown out of proportion but was shaken when his communications chief, Fabio Wajngarten tested positive for COVID-19.
