In a mysterious way, a 54-year-old nun was found dead in a well in Kerala’s Pathanapuram. The victim has been identified as Susamma Mathew who had been working as a teacher for several years in a nearby school.

It should be noted that Susamma did not attend the Sunday prayers. And when other came back from prayers around 10 am, Susamma was missing already. A blood trail was found and it leads to the body of the nun in the backyard.

Even though the body has been sent to autopsy for analysis, cops have found that Susamma had her wrists cut. The cut in the left hand was much deeper than it was in the right and reportedly looks self-inflicted.

People who know Susamma state that she was not doing well in the past few days and was generally upset about her health.
