NTR: His Blessings Are My Strength

Jr. NTR expressed heartfelt emotions at the grand pre-release event of War 2 held in Hyderabad on Sunday night. Addressing an enthusiastic crowd, NTR declared that nothing could deter him as long as he has the blessings of his grandfather, the legendary late N.T. Rama Rao.

Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan, who plays the lead in the high-octane action entertainer, was also present at the event.

Speaking about his decision to join the project, NTR revealed that it wasn’t the story, remuneration, or any other factor that convinced him.

“The sole reason is producer Aditya Chopra. He told me, ‘You should do this movie, and trust me, I will produce it in a way that your fans will be proud of you.’ I believed his words, and I’m thankful to him,” NTR said.

He also recalled how he once missed an opportunity to attend the pre-release event of Brahmastra as a chief guest due to prior commitments, but destiny had other plans.

“Now, I’ve had the opportunity to work under Ayan Mukerji’s direction for War 2. He worked day and night to bring this film to life, especially since it features two stars — Hrithik Roshan and me,” he added.

NTR didn’t hold back his admiration for Hrithik, calling himself a huge fan.

“Twenty-five years ago, when Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai released, I was mesmerized by his dance. In my opinion, he’s one of the greatest actors in Indian cinema and the best dancer in the country. War 2 is not only my first Hindi film, but also Hrithik Roshan’s first Telugu film,” he said, drawing loud cheers from fans.

With two of Indian cinema’s biggest stars coming together under Ayan Mukerji’s direction and Aditya Chopra’s production, War 2 is shaping up to be one of the most awaited action spectacles of the year.
