Sri Priya, who earlier directed the Telugu remake of 'Drishyam, starring Venkatesh, now has been remaking another super hit Malayalam movie. '22 Female Kottayam' is being remade in Telugu as 'Ghatana'.

Nitya Menen gets into the shoes of Rima Kallingal in this movie, produced by V.R.Krishna. The trailer of this movie has been released today (26th Aug) at Producer's council hall in Hyderabad. The platinum disc function will be held on 31st of this month and the film will hit the theaters in September. Senior Naresh and B.A.Raju were among others who attended the trailer launch event.

B.A.Raju said that this film, produced under Sun Moon Creations banner, will be another super hit film from the director after 'Drishyam'. He predicted that 'Ghatana' will be as big a hit as 'Prathighatana'.

Sr.Naresh said, "I've acted in around 150 films so far. But the character I played in 'Ghatana' is very different compared to all my previous roles. I thank director Sri Priya for giving me this role. She is my favourite lady director after my mother. Telugu audiences have been encouraging different movies for the past 2 to 3 years. I'm sure that this film will be a super hit".
