Nithin to introduce a new director?

Nithin is said to be interested in a well-known Tollywood technician’s story. The technician in question is SR Sekhar, who has been a sought-after Editor in the Telugu film industry for about a decade.

The buzz is that SR Sekhar has narrated a storyline to the Rang De actor. And since the Check star asked him to develop it further, the Editor can be said to be a debutant filmmaker in the making. 

It seems the A Aa actor sees potential in the technician. For years, he has mostly been associated with established or proven second-time directors like Venky Kudumula and Krishna Chaitanya. For a change, Nithin is showing interest in a newcomer for the first time since Courier Boy Kalyan. 

Meanwhile, his Maestro went on the floors on Monday. Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, the crime comedy stars Tamannaah Bhatia in a key role. Her scenes with Nithin are being shot. Nabha Natesh has a romantic role. The remake will hit the screens in July or August.
