Niharika Konidela’s Second Production ‘#PEP2’ Launched

Following the tremendous success of her debut production Committee Kurrollu, actress and producer Niharika Konidela has officially launched her second film under her banner, Pink Elephant Pictures. Touted as a fantasy-comedy, the new project—tentatively titled “#PEP2″—promises an engaging mix of magical elements and rib-tickling humor, aiming to appeal to audiences of all age groups.

Directed by Manasa Sharma, the film stars the fresh and exciting pairing of Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika in the lead roles. The film’s launch ceremony was held with grandeur today at the Glass House, Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad, with several notable industry guests gracing the occasion.

Filmmaker Nag Ashwin sounded the first clap, Mallidi Vassishta switched on the camera, and Kalyan Shankar directed the first shot—wishing the team the best as they embark on this vibrant new journey.

The regular shoot of #PEP2 will kick off on July 15, in and around Hyderabad. The young and dynamic team, led by Niharika, is determined to recreate the success of their first film by delivering a high-quality entertainer packed with fantasy and fun.

The film features a stellar ensemble cast including Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi, Getup Srinu, Sukwinder Singh, Aruna Bikshu, Ramana Bhargav, Vasu Inturi, Rohini (Jabardasth), Rohan (#90s), and more—ensuring a power-packed and laughter-filled cinematic ride.

Director Manasa Sharma, who is also the story writer, has teamed up with Mahesh Uppala for the screenplay and dialogues. Anudeep Dev is composing the music, while Raju Edurolu handles cinematography and Anwar Ali takes charge of the editing table. The film’s visual aesthetics are being crafted by Production Designer Ramanjaneyulu and Art Director Pulla Vishnu Vardhan, while Sandhya Sabbavarapu is designing the costumes. Action sequences will be choreographed by Vijay, and Manyam Ramesh serves as the Executive Producer. Public relations are managed by Naidu Surendra Kumar and Phani Kandukuri of Beyond Media, with Ticket Factory overseeing digital marketing efforts.

With a fresh narrative, a vibrant cast, and a young creative team at the helm, #PEP2 is poised to be a delightful blend of fantasy and comedy. Backed by the creative vision of Niharika Konidela and the Pink Elephant Pictures team, this film is shaping up to be one of the most promising entertainers on the horizon.
