Lady superstar Nayanthara is known for her back to back hits and female-centric films. She recently signed to play the lead in the magnum opus series 'Baahubali: Before the beginning' which is based on Anand Neelakantan's 2017 and 2020 novels The Rise of Sivagami.

The latest buzz about the actress is that she started shooting for a yet to be titled thriller film in Chennai. The story is said to revolve around her character. Trustable sources say that debutant GS Viknesh, who assisted Venkat Prabhu earlier, narrated the script to Nayanthara a month ago, and she really liked the script. She began shooting for this film five days ago in Chennai.

"It’s a family-based script but will be a thriller. The film will be shot in Chennai for the next few weeks and the team will move to Coimbatore after that.” the sources added.

Ron Ethan Yohan of 'Maya' and 'Game Over'' fame is composing the music and Tamizh is handling the film’s cinematography. Nayanthara also has many more films in her pipeline. She will next be seen in 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal' alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha.
