Nayanthara and Prabhu Deva to reunite?

The COVID 19 lockdown has stopped all film shootings and only postproduction works are happening and it is still unknown when normalcy will return in the cine field.  Nevertheless there are a lot of buzzes around upcoming projects and one that is doing the rounds is quite surprising.

According to latest reports from unconfirmed sources Nayanthara has agreed to act in a new movie to be directed by Prabhu Deva for producer Isari Ganesh.  A couple of years back a dual hero project ‘Karuppu Raja Vellai Raja’ with Karthi and Vishal as the heroes was announced by Ganesh in view of using the funds to the Nadigar Sangam buildings.

After a few days of shooting the project got shelved and now the reports suggest that Ganesh and Prabhu Deva have decided to revive it.  Karthi is said to be retained in the cast and in place of Vishal the team has decided for a gender change and Nayanthara has been penciled in.

We could not reach any of the concerned parties to clarify this report and though Nayan is a thorough professional and gives importance only to her characters it is highly unlikely that she would agree for this project.  Do take this one with a pinch of salt as the sources are unconfirmed and lets see if there is a surprise in store or this remains a mere rumour.
