Megastar Chiranjeevi is on cloud 9 upon receiving a prestigious honor by the Indian government. PM Modi has appointed Chiranjeevi as a member of the Advisory Board for the World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES). It is a global summit set to be hosted by India later this year.
In a virtual interaction with all the advisory members on Friday, Narendra Modi expressed his happiness and shared his excitement over meeting them all for this initiative.
Expressing his gratitude for this honour, Chiranjeevi took to social media and wrote, “Thank you Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji for this honour. It was indeed a privilege to be part of the Advisory Board for WAVES and share my insights along with other esteemed members. I have no doubt that #WAVES, the brainchild of Shri Modi ji, will propel India’s ‘SOFT POWER’ to its deserving heights on the global stage. Brace for all the excitement and groundbreaking developments soon!”
WAVES is being designed as India’s premier international summit for the entertainment industry, similar to the World Economic Forum at Davos for the economic sector.
Apart from Chiranjeevi, the advisory board members consist of Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella, Mukesh Ambani, Anand Mahindra, Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Mohanlal, Rajnikanth, Aamir Khan, AR Rahman, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone and others.
