With Nandamuri Balakrishna finally confirming a film with Anil Ravipudi (during an interaction with his US-based fans), his line-up is looking up like never before. For the first time in many years, the ‘Legend’ actor has got a very exciting set of back-to-back films.

In the recent past, Balayya has teamed up twice with KS Ravikumar (on ‘Jai Simha’ and ‘Ruler’), with the second-time collaboration resulting in a disaster. Krish Jagarlamudi’s outing with him resulted in two back-to-back disasters in the shape of ‘NTR: Kathanayakudu’ and ‘NTR: Mahanayakudu’.
Putting behind the unenviable track record of teaming up with non-star directors like Sriwass (‘Dictator’) and Ravi Chavali (‘Srimannarayana’), Balayya has finally got his filmography right.
‘Akhanda’ is being directed by Boyapati Sreenu, perhaps the best director Nata Simha can hope to work with (going by the track record of the combination). Gopichand Malineni is in full form after ‘Krack’ and he will be wielding the megaphone for Balayya’s 107th film.
Following this up with a Ravipudi movie sounds perfect in the current circumstances. Unless Balayya is tempted to take up ‘Aditya 999’ (which he has threatened to himself wield the megaphone for) in the meanwhile, he is looking forward to a potential hat-trick at the BO.
