Legendary Director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao Returns at 94 with His 61st Film, SSR61!

Veteran filmmaker Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, renowned for his groundbreaking work in Tamil cinema including classics like Raaja Paarvai, Apoorva Sagodharargal, and Michael Madana Kama Rajan, is making a sensational comeback. The versatile director, who has left an indelible mark across Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and more, is celebrated for his innovative and technically pioneering films such as Pushpaka Vimana, Aditya 369, Mayuri, and Magalir Mattum.

Actor Kamal Haasan once honored him with a special celebration event titled ‘Apoorva Singeetam’ in recognition of his unique contributions to cinema.
