Nandamuri Balakrishna has courted controversy yet again. In an interview marking the 30th anniversary of his classic 'Aditya 369', the 'Akhanda' actor made comments against some of the most feted talents of the film industry.
One of his prime targets was AR Rahman, about whom Balayya said that it's not a great thing if he has won just one Oscar award. "He delivers a hit only once a decade," the 'Simha' actor commented. The 'Legend' actor also said that he doesn't know who the composer is.
About the late actress, the legendary Sridevi, the actor-politician said that she was taught the art of acting by his father, the late NT Rama Rao. He also mocked yesteryear Bollywood superstar Madhuri Dixit, saying that she used to imitate the late dance choreographer Saroj Khan.
And about Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron, Balayya's remarks were even more curious. "I believe in wrapping up movies quite fast. I am fast, unlike James Cameron, who once took 12 years to complete a single movie," Balayya said, adding that he has the capacity to work on three movies simultaneously.
