Before TikTok was banned, an entertainer by name Durga Rao danced for a number of variations of the folk song. The Uttarandhra-origin folk song has been quite a favoured one by participants of dance shows on TV.

From mash-up videos to TikTok videos, ‘Nakkileesu Golusu’ has been taken a lot of forms. Sharing a mash-up video of Pawan Kalyan’s item numbers from films like ‘Gudumba Shankar’, Raghu Kunche recently wrote on Instagram that he had almost got an opportunity to compose for a Power Star film in the past before it slipped from his hands due to some sycophants. “Should I get a chance to work on his project again, it will be terrific,” the music director wrote.
