Chandrababu Naidu has solidly stood behind West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today in Kolkata. The Bengal CM has been staging a dharna to "Save the Constitution" from the BJP-ruled Centre since Sunday night. It all began with CBI sleuths reaching Kolkata on Sunday morning to question the police commissioner of the city in connection with a chit fund scam.
"The BJP is the most corrupt party in India," Naidu had said before leaving for Kolkata.
Flanked by the TDP supremo, Mamata Banerjee today said, "The Centre wants to control all the agencies including the state agencies also? PM, you resign from Delhi and go back to Gujarat. One man govt, one party government is there."
Tejaswi Yadav, the son of Lalu Prasad Yadav, has already supported Mamata on the issue. DMK leader Kanimozhi is another supporter.
