Naga Chaitanya–Karthik Dandu’s Mythical Thriller Titled Vrushakarma; First Look Unveiled

A major cinematic collaboration has been officially revealed. Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya, riding high on the success of Thandel, has teamed up with Virupaksha director Karthik Dandu for an ambitious mythical thriller. Jointly backed by SVCC and Sukumar Writings and presented by Bapineedu, the project has been generating strong buzz through intriguing behind-the-scenes glimpses.

Marking Naga Chaitanya’s birthday, the makers unveiled the film’s title and striking first-look poster. Superstar Mahesh Babu launched the poster across his social media handles, extending warm wishes to the actor and the team.

Titled Vrushakarma, the name signifies “one whose actions are righteous,” hinting at the powerful moral core of Chaitanya’s character. The intense first-look poster adds to the intrigue—Naga Chaitanya appears rugged and battle-ready, gripping a thick metal rod, his attire covered in dust. The backdrop of ancient structures, swirling smoke, and a dramatic golden sky sets a mythological yet gritty tone.

Chaitanya’s muscular frame, sweat-glazed face, and fierce determination suggest a role demanding immense physicality—arguably his most intense avatar yet.

Starring Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead and Laapataa Ladies actor Sparsh Shrivastava as the antagonist, Vrushakarma promises a fresh narrative blending history and mythology—an area Karthik Dandu is known to explore with unique vision.

The film also features a strong technical lineup: Ragul D. Herian on cinematography, Ajaneesh B. Loknath composing the music, Sri Nagendra Tangala heading production design, and Naveen Nooli handling editing.

With its powerful title, gripping first look, and top-tier talent both in front of and behind the camera, Vrushakarma is shaping up to be one of the most exciting films on the horizon.
