In recent times, a few South Indian actresses got to wear the singer's hat.  It all began with Kajal Aggarwal, who crooned for a film starring Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar.  Nithya Menen has song a lilting number in AR Rahman's musical, 24.  Trisha has sung a peppy number under the tutelage of Raghu Kunche for the film Nayaki.

But Amy Jackson has gone a step ahead of all these.  The Britain-born actress will do a music video with Raftaar (a rapper-singer) and Manj Musik, a singer.  The video will be made with three separate tracks for Punjabi, Hindi and English.

The Theri/Police actress is currently doing Rajinikanth's 2.0.
