‘Month Of Madhu’ Teaser: A relationship drama amped up by realism

Director Srikanth Nagothi of ‘Bhanumathi & Ramakrishna’ fame is back with another relationship drama. Titled ‘Month Of Madhu’, the upcoming release has Naveen Chandra in the role of a drunkard named Madhu. Swathi Reddy plays his girlfriend-turned-wife, who puts up with his toxicity for twenty years before filing for a divorce. 

Going by the film’s teaser, which was released today, the story evolves from a conversational one to a dramatic stretch in the second half. Swathi and Naveen Chandra look tired and rightly so. The lead performances are looking perfect! We see the male lead in a clean-shaven look and then in an unkempt look in a span of many years. The female lead has moved from infatuation to learning that patience is not a virtue all the time. 

Also featuring Shreya Navile, Manjula Ghattamaneni, Harsha Chemudu, Gnaneswari Kandregula, Raja Chembolu, Raja Ravindra and others, the film is produced by Yaswanth Mulukutla. Rajeev Dharavath’s cinematography and Achu Rajamani’s music are joined by Ravikanth Perepu’s editing and Chandramouli Eathalapaka’s art direction. KK has penned the lyrics. 

The film’s release date is yet to be announced.
