MAA elections will be held on October 10. Mohan Babu’s son Manchu Vishnu is in the race to win the Presidential bid against Prakash Raj. On Friday, Mohan Babu issued a statement appealing to MAA members to cast their precious vote for his son.
In his Telugu-language statement, the senior actor referred to his welfare measures when he was the MAA President. “It was during my tenure that old-age pensions were introduced for artists,” Mohan Babu reminded.
He added, “I don’t believe in talking about my good deeds. But this is an occasion to talk. Ever since I established the production house Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures in 1982, I have provided employment opportunities to technicians and artists by making several films. The children of poor Telugu artists have availed of free educational services at my educational institution.”
Mohan Babu also said that his son will always be accessible to members if he is voted to power. “He is going to be here in Hyderabad. Come what may, he will stand by each member in need,” the proud father signed off.
